Improve Capacity for Renewable Energy Providers
In today's energy marketplace, the solar and wind farms have some difficult challenges, many of which are solved by HTI's Dynamic Combustion Chamber.
First, and most obvious, they can't produce energy when the sun is not shining or the wind is not blowing. However, if the operators of these facilities directed a small percentage of their capacity into creating hydrogen and store it locally, they will have a fuel source even when the wind is not blowing and the sun is not shining.
This is a major change in the operating mentality of these facilities as well as their customers. Adding this capability changes them from a part-time provider receiving part-time Power Purchase Agreement rates to a base-load power source receiving higher rates. Now they can produce power 24/7 regardless of weather conditions or time of day. Therefore, as a much more reliable source of power, they can attract higher rates. Adding HTI's Hydrogen Boiler completely changes the business models for the renewable energy providers.
Another challenge these facilities face is a transportation cost for distributing the electricity they create directly onto the grid. By the time the power reaches the consumer, it has traveled great distances and lost 15-20% of it's total electricity. Hydrogen, however, can be distributed quickly and easily to wherever the power will be consumed without losing any of it's potential energy.
