Lew Rubin is an energy industry and electric utility analyst with 40 years of experience in economic analysis, project management, capital budgeting, risk analysis and business value analysis. For over 15 years he worked as research manager at the Electric Power Research Institute, and has continued in a similar capacity as an independent consultant since 1995. He has supported a variety of clients engaged in energy-related businesses and projects, including power plant project development, power generation operations and maintenance, energy delivery and Smart Grid support, customer engagement, and most recently renewable energy analysis and support. He has written and lectured extensively among energy industry professionals throughout his career, including articles for the trade press, client-confidential monographs, and numerous presentations at professional meetings. He holds a BA degree from Lehigh University, and advanced degrees from Brown University and Santa Clara University.
